City of Sheffield Swim Squad Final Report From Yorkshire Age Groups 2009
CoSSS Age Group swimmers had another good weekend in the sprints and team events of the Yorkshire Championships held at Ponds Forge 21/22 March. In the third and final weekend of the Championships two teams became Yorkshire Champions. The Mens 9/10 A Team, Sam Budd, Laurence Pickford, Jordan Damms, and Jamie Damms, won the 200m Freestyle Relay. Sam also won the 10 Years overall BAGCAT award, weel done to Sam! The Womens 9/10 A Team, Elizabeth Brook, Phoeby Finch, Amy Treslove and Emily Longstone, won the 200m Freestyle Relay. Congratulations to you all! Another 8 Silver medals and 8 Bronze medals were won over the weekend making the total medals won, 6 Gold, 22 Silver and 23 Bronze. Well done to all the swimmers who took part, these are really super results!!
