We are South Yorkshire’s premier competitive swimming club and train at the prestigious Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield, which accommodates both 25m and 50m training facilities. Within our squads we have International swimmers, National Age/Youth winners and finalists, and we compete at County, District and National levels, including various open meets through-out the year. We are a British Swimming select club and are regularly ranked in the top 10 clubs in Great Britain. Our aim is to place swimmers on the podium at all domestic and International level meets.

The biggest championships of the domestic season saw medals for James Crisp, Ellie Faulkner, Becky Turner, Dan Cocking and Tom Sunter plus lots of finallists and semi-finallists. A fantastic performance by all concerned!

A new format for the championships saw Age Group and Senior swimmers competing over the same weekend. Matthew Johnson and James Crisp had an outstanding weekend setting new British records.
The club's Masters and Senior Age Group swimmers had a tremendous weekend at the British Gas National Short Course Championships returning 17 medals in total including 7 Gold and a new British record for the Women's 72+ years 4 x 50m Medley team.

The second weekend of the Yorkshire Age Groups was held at John Charles Pool in Leeds and Megan Hudson and Jenny Knowles led the way for COSSS as they became Yorkshire Champions in the 200m Breaststroke and 400m I.M.
