City of Sheffield Swim Squad Championship Results and another Olympic Qualifier!
Siroos Saeed has qualified for the Beijing Olympics!. The Iranian team used the Croatian Meet as their trials, and they have selected him to swim. Fantastic news, well done Siroos!
Jack Dunn has won a gold medal in the 4 x 200m Freestyle relay in Monterrey at the World Youth Championships in a time of 1.52.7. At the same championship Rebecca Turner has won a silver medal in the 4 x 200m Freestyle relay in a new personal best of 2.01.1. These are great performances, well done to Jack and Rebecca.
Back in the UK, Debbie Hall has won 2 silver medals in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke at the ASA National Championships last week in Liverpool. Andy Shepherd made 3 finals at the event.
