City of Sheffield Swim Squad White Rose Gala
All swimmers who represented City of Sheffield Swimming Club at the White Rose Diddy league gala did themselves and their city proud, after finishing runners up behind the 2006 National champions Borough of Kirklees.
A fantastic team sprit was seen by all and this was reflected with really good performances both in and out of the water.
The result is very encouraging for the club and we will aim to build on this performance for next year where we will strive to reduce the gap between ourselves and the champions.
Special thanks to Pina Hanan, Dave Naughton, Kevin Simpson, Kathy Boot, Nicki Pollard, Mr Kirby and Mrs Peters who gave up valuable time to help with the smooth running of our team in the competition.
