City of Sheffield Swim Squad Aynsley Wins Gold in Open Water French Cup
Senior Elite swimmer Aynsley Heseltine (17) has just returned from France with a Gold medal after competing in the Open Water French Cup. Aynsley was among a 23 – strong squad, The British Gas Development Open Water Team, as part of an initiative to develop the sport further after the success at Beijing.
The squad were in France for a week and it was in Creil, the first leg of the French Cup, where Aynsley won Gold in the Womens 5k race. Well done Aynsley!
