City of Sheffield Swim Squad Keith Downing
We are sorry to announce, that one of our long serving coaches, and great friends, Keith Downing has passed away.
He had been suffering with cancer for a number of months, and finally left us at 4.30am on 9th February in St Luke's Hospice.
His funeral will be at 2pm on Thursday 15th Feb at Grenoside Crematorium, and he expressed that he did not want people to spend money on flowers, but to make donations to St Luke’s Hospice instead. Russ Barber, Shirley Lack and Dave Naughton will collect the donations.
All of our condolences and best wishes are with his family at this time. Keith has contributed so much to our swimmers over the years, and will be hugely missed.
