City of Sheffield Swim Squad Joan Weatherington Receives National Award
Joan Weatherington, the COSSS Vice Chairperson, has received the ASA National Aquaforce Volunteer Award for Outstanding Contribution at Club Level. It is well deserved as Joan has worked at City of Sheffield in a voluntary capacity for over 25 years. Amongst other things, she has helped raise hundreds of thousands of pounds by organising our home galas, which are now attended by all the country's top swimmers.
The club would not enjoy such a respected position within British Swimming without Joan's valuable contribution, so a big well done and congratulations from all at City of Sheffield...here's to another 25 years!!
