The Championships took place in Istanbul on 10-13 December. Seventeen year old Rebecca returned with two records, a fantastic achievement. Her first race of the Championships was the 50m Freestyle which she swam in 25.62, an excellent time earning her the Senior Yorkshire record. Her second record came in the 4X50m relay where she swam with Amy Smith, Katherine Wyld and Jessica Sylvester in a time of 1.40.12, after qualifying for the final as substitutes they finished 6th beaking the English record. Rebecca also swam in the 100m Freestyle in 55.32 and 200m Freestyle in 1.57.96 making all her swims short course PBs.

Ellie (16) was representing GB in her first Senior event. She competed in the 400m Freestyle, 4.18.41, and 200m Freestyle, 2.01.92, achieving short course PBs in both events. Very different to competing on a Junior level she really enjoyed the experience of swimming against the top swimmers in Europe. Well done girls!
