Head Coach Russ Barber says “I am really proud of all the swimmers at this years Nationals. We have had some amazing personal best swims and medals, including British Record times for Braxston, Ellie and Tom. It has been an incredibly hard year for the squad, losing some key swimmers to retirement , injury and University, also with so many good coaches moving on. But everybody has rallied round so well and we’ve come back stronger than ever. Many thanks to Mark, Dave, Karen, Pina, Mike and Liz who work so hard in helping me with the seniors.

Special mention should be given to Dan and Jenny for coming back from major injuries and illness and performing major pbs. They have shown great belief and fighting spirit and I am very proud of them.

I am so pleased for all the swimmers and proud of the club in general, so many thanks to everybody that has contributed to such a successful year....time for a break now to recharge the batteries, ready for the new season!!”
