This is a request to parents of City of Sheffield swimmers. The above meet is held at Ponds Forge over the weekend of December 3rd and 4th. This year the event clashes with the Regional Championships being held in Sunderland and many of our regular volunteers will be in Sunderland. We really need help to run the gala and would appreciate it if parents willing to help could add their name to the volunteers list on the Ponds Forge notice board. Alternatively please call Joan Wetherington on 0114 2390754.
In addition, the club will run a raffle to raise funds for all squads at the meet. We need donations for a food hamper (which will be a main prize) and furrther donations for other prizes. Please see the list on the notice board and indicate which item you would like to donate and then give the prize to either your squad liaison officer or to Ros Goodyear (who'll be at Ponds Forge on Monday 28th and Wednesday 30th of November). The last day to hand in donations is Thursday 1st December.
Any help you can give will be gratefully received by the club and our swimmers!
