This site is now the home of our Gala Results and article archives.

We launched a new website in early 2022.  Take a look here.

This year, the meet also acted as a selection meet for the European Junior Championships, so competitors were categorised as junior and open swimmers, with two finals in 50m and 400m events, and three finals in 100m and 200m events.
Some of our swimmers going to the Commonwealth Games were in hard training so raced untapered. However, Jay Lelliott (25) had a fantastic meet, winning British titles in the 400 and 800 free and winning bronze in the 200 free. Lily Boseley (17) also performed strongly to finish first of the junior swimmers in the 100 back, and second in the 50 and 200 back.
Many congratulations to all our swimmers who qualified to compete. For most of our junior swimmers, it was their first British Championships and the first time they had travelled as a team. It was a great experience for all and they dealt with the occasion and surroundings well and is sure to be a springboard for further success.
