Results and Archive

This site is now the home of our Gala Results and article archives.

We launched a new website in early 2022.  Take a look here.

Top swimmers from England and elsewhere were competing to reach senior and A and B finals in a full programme of events. In total, COSSS won 8 medals (see below) and had 35 other A and B finalists.

In addition to this, despite most being in hard training, COSSS swimmers broke records on all four days of competition. Elliot Clogg broke the junior British and Yorkshire record in the 100 back (54.14) and also went onto to set new junior Yorkshire figures for the 100 free (50.30), 50 back (25.17), 200 back (1.57.69). The women's 4X100 free team (Becky Turner, Maya Westlake, Darcy Deakin and Ellie Faulkner) broke the English record in 3.37.63. Maya Westlake improved her own Yorkshire record in the senior 100 back (1.01.24) and Izzy Grant reclaimed the senior 200 fly Yorkshire record (2.11.34). Nick Grainger improved his own records in the senior 200 free (1.43.99) and 400 free (3.40.24) and Braxston Timm broke a long standing record in the senior 50 fly (23.57). Last, but not least, congratulations to Maddie Dyer for breaking the junior Yorkshire 100 back (1.02.70) an 50 back (29.46) records, but commiserations in that they were broken later in the meet!
