This was the final short course event of the season and provided an opportunity for high quality competition and produced 20 A finals places including 6 medals, with all swimmers competing in the open age group.
Many PBs were set over the weekend reflecting the fine progress made by the squad based on good early season training. Special congratulations go to Darcy Deakin, Izzy Grant and Braxston Timm for breaking Yorkshire records over the weekend. Darcy broke junior records in the 100 free (55.73) and 200 free (2.00.70), Izzy broke the women's 200 fly record (2.11.78) and Braxston set new figures for the men's 100 free (48.41).
