The support for all the participating clubs was fantastic which contributed to a superb atmosphere during the event and some fantastic performances in the pool. Throughout the afternoon's swimming, COSSS were in the top 4 places on the points scoreboard – Plymouth Leander led impressively from the early events and COSSS, Guildford, Taunton Deane battled for the next 3 places. Despite some storming performances in the final relay events, COSSS just missed out on a top 3 finish.
Congratulations to Rebecca Turner for winning the top female swimmer and Darcy Deakin for winning the most improved girl in the under 13s age group. A special mention too to those swimmers who travelled to swim 1 relay leg!
A special thanks to all parents who travelled to the event and to Maxine Deakin for all her efforts flag making and sourcing T shirts!
