The gala this year was moved from the John Charles Centre to the Harrogate Hydro, which made for a very hot and noisy atmosphere! Also for 2012, there was no B team gala and Borough of Kirklees were absent. Nonetheless, there was great competition and for the second year running, COSSS finished second behind the defending national champions, City of Leeds. Given the swimmers are only just getting back into the swing of training, there were some very good performances and if it wasn't for a couple of disqualifications, we would have been closer to Leeds' points total.
Well done for all who competed and particular thanks should go to those who travelled to the meet for just one or two relay swims!
